CSG Presents: Meet Your Lil Homies! Fun Workshop with Ethnic Minority Kids

Dear JCSVIII residents,
Hong Kong’s ethnic minorities form a colorful and vibrant community comprising both new immigrants and those who have lived in the city for generations. However, a group of ethnic minorities are still facing poverty and discrimination. Therefore, it is our responsibility to pay effort to contribute and raise awareness among JCSVIII community using our sphere of influence.
Lap-Chee College’s Connect Service Group is in collaboration with New Home Association to organize an interactive workshop for residents to have a fun afternoon with ethnic minority children. New Home Association is a non-government charitable organization dedicated to providing one-stop professional social services for new arrivals from the Mainland, ethnic minorities, and the disadvantaged in Hong Kong. They are also committed to promoting community participation, social inclusion, and to building an equal and caring society.
By joining this workshop, residents will have a great opportunity to share experiences with ethnic minority children. It will also be an interesting experience for the children as then can mingle with university students from different backgrounds.
