Rotaract Club of HKU LCCI is not only part of Lap-Chee but is also affiliated with the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour. Chartered on 25 March 1987, Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour has been, for over three decades, actively engaged in community service in Hong Kong.
We have four avenues of service:
1. Community Service
The community service team focuses on organizing projects that respond to the needs of the local community. Past events include “Dim Sum with Elders”, which facilitated cultural exchange between students of JCSV III and local elderly, and the “Tutoring Project”, which helped local secondary students learn English through exploring different interesting topics. Other events include Christmas service, origami workshop, and etc.
2. Club Service
The club service team aims to strengthen the relationship between our club members through a series of team-bonding events. An example of a past event is “Dim Sum Night”, where members played various ice-breaking games while enjoying a hearty meal of dim sum.
3. Professional Development
The professional development team organizes events aimed at improving professional skills of our members and the residences of JCSV III. Previously, the committee organised a series of job sharing session, such as “How to land your first graduate job” hosted by a professional recruiter.
4. International Service
The International Service team aims to serve international communities who are in need. Previously, our events were all held locally, where sharing sessions by UNHCR were organised to raise awareness among members towards the refugee situation in Hong Kong. If the situation allows, the team will be focusing on organizing international service trips in the near future.

You have the access to extensive network of Rotaract Clubs in Hong Kong and worldwide: forge friendships, be involved with NGOs and probe career paths. You would be eligible to participate and take part in District and worldwide events organised by both local and international Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs.
Meeting influential people and develop your professional career
With great exposures to join professional events organised by Rotarians, you are going to meet influential people in the society through Rotaract and Rotary. Not only polishing communication and leadership skills, you will be connected with experienced professionals and get to see things in different perspectives.
Sponsorships for exposure and personal development
As a Rotaractor, you would gain valuable learning opportunities and be eligible to apply sponsorships from Rotary for local and overseas exposures including events and conferences.
What is Rotaract?
Rotaract is an international organization of service clubs for men and women aged 18-30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace.
It is a program of Rotary International which aims to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Rotaract Clubs work under the guidance of their local Rotary Club, and take their name from a combination of the words Rotary and action.
Being a part of Rotaract can help foster connections and build leadership skills. While serving the community, you are associated with an international and professional organisation.
