Mahjong Fun Class at LCC!

Do you recall the scene in the movie Crazy Rich Asians where Rachel and her mother-in-law play a kind of tile game in a parlour? The game they are playing is called “Mahjong”.

Mahjong is a traditional tile-based game that involves 4 players. Even though there are different versions and playing styles of the game, for example, Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese, most of the games are played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. Players have to take turns to draw and discard tiles until they complete a well-organised set of tiles.

The Hong Kong Series Team from Lap-Chee College is now presenting the Mahjong Fun Class to you. We will teach you the rules and regulations of Hong Kong Mahjong, and how to play Mahjong in a fun and enjoyable way.
